Prioritize field-tested innovation to enhance India's technological capabilities.
Foster indigenous technology solutions for India's security in collaboration with domestic start-ups and friendly nations.
Prioritizing tangible experiences and field knowledge as the foundation of any technological advancement, Rudram seeks to rigorously test solutions in real-world scenarios, relying on invaluable feedback from the partners and incorporating an iterative approach to meet the specific needs of the end-users and effective implementation.
Rudram pioneers in developing India's first drone, to be equipped with a 9 mm gun that was indigenously developed and manufactured in India. We are also developing nano and small-category drones to improve next-generation covert capabilities. These drones provide swift situational awareness, boost operational effectiveness, and minimize cognitive strain on soldiers. They can be deployed for kamikaze operations, offering versatile applications in various mission scenarios.
India has a vast land boundary of 15,200 kilometres and a coastline of 7,517 kilometres. Securing such extensive borders is essential for ensuring national security, and preventing illegal activities such as terrorism, smuggling, and illegal immigration. Effective border management is critical to maintaining the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
We at Rudram therefore, collaborate with in-service and retired soldiers, innovators, and start-ups to test, validate, and invest in cutting-edge prototypes. Our goal is to develop the best solutions tailored to the unique challenges of each geographical location. Given India’s diverse geography, our solutions are highly localized and custom-made to meet unique regional requirements.
Rudram, in partnership with IIT Madras Pravartak have developed a powerful big data analytics software – Modelling of Data Intelligence. This software is designed to analyze a wide range of intelligence inputs including - social media, deep and dark web crawling that integrates seamlessly with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). It empowers organizations to make informed decisions and aid in analysing institutional memory by processing historical intelligence inputs.
Given the sub-optimal coordination between defence startups and the armed forces, Rudram has established a collaborative sandbox with GNLU for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Defence PSUs, DPSUs and private manufacturers to innovate, ideate and test their product development. We provide testbeds, mentoring, and investment opportunities to enable startups to develop their ideas into deployable solutions that meet the evolving needs of India’s defence sector.
